Starting a blog as a writer is not a waste of time like you might believe it is.

We are deep into the age of the internet where everyone and their dog has a social media account. This may or may not include blogs, but with sites that offer microblogging such as Tumblr, it’s a lot easier to create a blog without even knowing you have one.
But for those who intentionally create a blog, and choose to be known as “bloggers”, the market is flooded with thousands of blogs for each niche, even the not so popular topics.
It can be demoralizing when wanting to create a platform to showcase your writing and to provide updates to those who listen when there are thousands, if not millions, of blogs…
