If you are familiar with ABH, the quality of these shadows is the same. They are soft, buttery and they blend like a dream. They also pile on top of each other very nicely. I own other ABH palettes as well…

Skincare update: What I’m using and what I’m loving

Kate Boswell

So I realized that I have been neglecting writing about my skincare and how things have changed since I started that using the prescriptions that I have. Right now I am using Adapalene and Clindamycin Phosphate and Benzol Peroxide gels as well as a pill that I take twice a day.C3A2oCyhRhOVK8SkTp9yig These have been helping a lot with the scaring on my skin however…

MY SKIN IS SUCH A WEIRD TEXTURE.

The perception makes it really dry and my skin tries to overcompensate by producing more oil than it usually does. But my skin still manages to be dry. Please tell me that I am not the only one with this problem.

So what I have been doing to help combat this has been a lot of trial and error. I have used the Noxzema Classic Clean face wash for a long time and I still swear by it.

My Mini Sephora Spring Sale Haul

Every beauty addict knows about it and waits for this event for months: it is Sephora’s spring sale, of course! Whether you are a Beauty Insider, a VIB or a VIB Rouge, there are discounts for everyone and on everything you want.

Because I went really hard during the fall sale, and also because I am trying to buy less in general, I decided I wouldn’t treat myself too much this time. I know, that is the WORST thing a beauty blogger can say, but still… I was totally fine with my decision, and in fact, there wasn’t anything that I felt I needed to buy (surprisingly!).

Here is what I got at the Sephora spring sale:

  • Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation in “Y205”. This one is not that exciting, because it was a necessity: I ran out of it and this is the lightest foundation in my…

LUSH: sustainability at its best

How can we talk about sustainability and not talk about LUSH? Lush is a brand based in the UK producing fresh handmade cosmetics and soaps since 1970. What they do and how they do it is commendable.

Lush was initiated in 1970’s when Mark Constantine, a trained trichologist and Liz Weir, a beauty therapist, met and decided to start their own business of natural hair and beauty products with fresh and natural ingredients for hair and skin. In the 80’s Mark and Liz started making products for Anita Roddick’s The Body Shop and became their big supplier and eventually ended up opening their own store. This how their journey began.

Lush is the only cosmetics store that is purely eco-friendly and handmade, from packaging to the final product everything is ethical. They believe in making effective products using fresh organic fruits and vegetables. The ingredients they use are 100% against…

Skincare Routine for Clear, Healthy Skin

DaibyDai

Hey Daizies!

I hope everyone is enjoying their spring so far! The weather has been so beautiful lately! As the sun continues to shine, it’s always nice to have clear shining skin to glow along with it. My skin has minimal breakouts and is classified as balanced/”normal” skin.

Exfoliate/Deep Cleanse: African Black Soap

African Black Soap has been the most consistently beneficial product I’ve used this past year. I use this every other night or sometimes back to back if I wore a full face of makeup. What I love about black soap is that it really cleanses deep into the pores. It’s so important to make sure your face is clean and to get all of the makeup off your face before sleeping. Lathering black soap on my face after cleansing really ensures that my face is squeeky clean. It can be drying, so I only leave on for…
